You’re booked!

Congratulations! You’re taking action on your next chapter.

And I’m so excited for you. You’ll receive an email with all the details.

Most folks never even get this far.

But you’re ready to start figuring out something different for your career — and your life.

And as scary as that can be, it is worth the effort.

Feeling trapped in a job rather than living in your purpose can cause burnout, regret, and an almost inescapable feeling of hopelessness.

But actually leaving a job? Well that’s got its own set of scary feelings.

Facing those feelings is where you reclaim your life — and I help you face them with confidence and clarity.

Honestly, I’ve been where you’re at.

I Was Once Terrified to Quit My Job

I can tell you from experience — quitting your job with confidence and clarity about what you want next will change your life.

I went from being burnt out, grumpy, and frustrated to excited, enthusiastic, and full of zest for life.

But first I had to get really honest about what I actually wanted, not just what I didn’t want.

And I didn’t do that alone. I had a coach — which is why I am so passionate now about coaching folks who have been where I’ve been. Because I know something else is possible.

Then I reclaimed my life.

Now I have the kind of flexibility I only ever dreamed of. I take every Friday off (I call them F*ck Around Fridays) and use that time to read, garden, clean, organize, make art, or connect with people in my community.

Monday through Thursday I only work 10 AM - 3 PM, because I’ve found I operate at my best when I can spend my mornings doing mobility exercises and then soaking in a bubble bath. And at 3PM, I go pick up my daughter from school and spend time with her rather than get back on my computer.

I take the month of December off almost completely.

Without going broke — in fact, I experience the opposite.

And I’m making more money than I ever made when I was formally employed, working 40-60 hours per week, and commuting 2 hours per day.

If you’re feeling like something else isn’t possible, I understand. I have been there. And getting out of there took a lot of intentionality, which is still a core part of how I structure my life.

Now I help my clients reshape their idea of what’s possible and reclaim their lives.

A Little Bit More About Me

  1. I’m a bit of a media nerd. Screen time balance is part of my life, sure, but I’ll never pretend like I don’t boogie down when it comes to watching my favorite show. I love having watch parties at our house when new movies are released, even making themed foods or drinks.

My partner and I have annual movie marathons of Lord of the Rings as a throw back to the first week after my daughter was born when we were watching The Fellowship of the Ring at 3 AM whilst he fed me trail mix, cheese, and summer sausage so I could focus on feeding our newborn.

As for video games, they are loved by all in my household. My favorite game is Katamari Damacy, my daugther’s is Minecraft (see pic above), my partner’s is College Football 26, and my dad’s is the classic Centipede arcade game.

Our entire den is covered in posters, pictures, and paintings from all our favorite tv shows, movies, and video games.

  2. Coaching helped me fall in love with humanity. I’ve always felt like quite the cynic, although my mother swears I’m an eternal idealist. Maybe that’s the reason for my cynicism? Either way, coaching gives me an opportunity to hear people’s stories in a way that inspires me deeply. Whether it’s the creativity of their ideas, the compassion I feel for their struggles, or the immense hope I feel imagining them being out in the world making change, my clients keep me confident in what is possible.

  3. I live on the beautiful Ihanktonwan Nation, of which I’m an enrolled member. I’m also Oglala Lakota and European settler descent, including Irish, German, French, and English. A big part of why I reshaped my work life was so that I could spend more time on learning traditional art forms, grow more native plants, and learn more about traditional trade and economics practiced by my ancestors. Success for me within my business is not measured solely by profit — I have an very intentional focus on nurturing decolonized business practices, prioritizing family time, tending to the earth, and always, always continuing to learn.

  4. I’m deeply passionate about Indigenous sovereignty, and I see coaching as a way to internally decolonize and reclaim oneself from colonial institutions and ideologies. This extends into my deep belief that it is our responsibility to concurrently build a better future while we dismantle systems of oppression. I would absolutely consider myself to be a ideas person who loves thinking about the future. When I find the present too depressing, I turn to the wisdom of the past and the possibility of the future to guide me.

  5. I was born with a broken heart. That’s a slightly dramatic way of saying that, but it’s true. I had an atrial septal defect, which was repaired when I was 5 years old. Strangely, my partner also has had heart surgery, so we have matching scars. Thankfully our daughter has a very healthy ticker though!

  6. My family is restoring an 100+ year old house on my reservation. Our home has been a continual work in progress since we moved in in the fall 2021, but each year we try to save enough to tackle a repair. So far we’ve finished the foundation, built a new fence, replaced the furnace, and next we hope to restore the beautiful hardwood floors to their former glory.

  7. I’m an ADHD hummingbird. I was diagnosed in 2022 and that diagnosis has helped me structure my life in a way that honors ADHD’s gifts while managing it’s challenges.

These are just a few facts about me. Want to know more? Just ask!
