Hi! I’m Cecily Engelhart.
I'm a liberatory career coach* and consultant who helps people feeling burnt out or bored in their jobs reset their career pathways in order to do work that they feel passionate about without over sacrificing their time, energy, or health.
Since I was 13 years old, I’ve had a job (sometimes 2 or 3). In the couple of decades since then, I’ve shifted from being someone’s employee to running my own companies.
But just because that is my journey, does not mean I think it has to be yours too.
Instead, I think that if you’ve landed on this page, it is because you know that you also need some kind of shift in your career. Perhaps it’s a promotion. Perhaps it’s a new job. And perhaps it is starting a business.
And I know where to start to support you in figuring that out.
* What is liberatory career coaching?
I see what I do as creating a career that supports both your individual, and our collective, liberation from systems of oppression. Being able to occupy roles and hold responsibilities that make you feel in alignment with your purpose, abundant with the resources you need, and agility while navigating the systems we are in.
Our goals are to generate plenty of qualified leads, make more revenue and create a bigger impact from your business.
I love helping my clients find their most aligned, abundant purpose as they change the world.
I am a cis gender, able bodied woman of Ihanktonwan Dakota, Oglala Lakota, and European settler descent (including Irish, French, German, and English). I live the rural life on the Ihanktonwan Nation in South Dakota with my family in a 100+ year old house we are slowly (but surely) restoring.
When I'm not coaching people on the next stage of their careers, I can be found cooking with my family, playing games, watching movies, and (if the weather is right) swimming in the Missouri River.
